May 4th-8th is Teacher Appreciation Week, and we have started the celebration early. #205 teachers were able to present a check to the Galesburg FISH Food Pantry. District #205 made the donation of $5 per #205 staff member, totaling $3,145. Through this gift that will serve so many in need, our intention is to convey our appreciation for you all!
Social media is a powerful tool to share the good going on around us. Today we shared the joy of #classof2020's surprise of a yard sign courtesy of district #205.
Today we also thank & share that GHS teacher Annjannette Foster made & donated 200 masks. Together we are better! ⚡

Galesburg High School and the WB6 Conference will take part in the nationwide #bethelight movement this Friday, April 17. The lights @F&M Bank Stadium will be turned on from 8 to 8:20 p.m. to provide a beautiful sign of hope and to honor the 2020 Senior Class. #GHSClassof2020

If you heard honking around town tonight, it may have been GHS Special Education staff greeting students in a caravan! Hearts were made happy upon seeing students & parents, even if it was from a distance. A student held up a sign that said, “We’re in this together.” Yes, we are!
