Construction crews hit a one inch high pressurized gas line. Ameren is on the scene with Galesburg Police department. As a precaution students were evacuated from Wicall and the East Side of Galesburg High School. The line has been clamped and there is no longer a concern. We want to remind you that safety is our number one concern. School will dismiss at regular time today. Thank you.

Mrs. Grodjesk and this group of seniors went to CSC last Friday for the Day of Transition. This is a professional conference that focuses on the skill set needed to transition to post high school employment as well as education. This group is excited for what comes next!

Environmental Science students generated the gases that cause acid rain. They then bubbled those gases through water to create acid rain and measured the pH of each resulting type of acid rain. Cool, huh?
