Drawing II students have been creating a range of values in reverse using various white mediums on black paper as well as a reductive value technique. They first blacken a surface with charcoal, and then erase it to create lighter values. Students will then choose the medium and techniques they wish to use to create a drawing using a light-value medium on a dark surface. #StreaksNation

The Marching Streaks competed in the Normal Marching Band Invitational at Illinois Wesleyan University this past weekend. The band placed second in class 5A to first place finishers, Bloomington High School. The Marching Streaks also won best percussion and placed 2nd overall out of 15 bands for the day.
