Who Remembers?!
Our 7th grade Industrial Arts students are starting to finish up their first project of the semester—the infamous oven push/pull stick!
And apparently, this project is a tradition that stands the test of time! Their teacher even remembers making the same one when he was in 7th grade… 25 years ago!
Some projects are just classics.
Who remembers making one?!

🎨 Creativity is on display in Design 1!
Students have been exploring scratch art, creating detailed designs by carefully scratching away layers to reveal their artwork underneath.
It takes patience, creativity, and a steady hand—and our students are putting all three to work!

Today, we had the privilege of welcoming renowned speaker Michael R. DeLeon of Steered Straight Inc. to speak with our students and staff.
Through his powerful personal story and honest message about the dangers of vaping and addiction, Michael encouraged everyone in the room to listen, think, and make informed choices. At one point, his message was simple and heartfelt: “I am begging you to listen to me. Begging you. Because I care.”
Thank you, Michael, for sharing your story and for the impact you had on our students and staff today. Your message was powerful, honest, and one that will stay with many of us long after today.

Junior High Industrial Arts is off to a great start!
Students put their measuring skills to the test as they learned how to read a tape measure all the way down to 1/16 of an inch—including how to read the marks without the fractions printed on the tape, just like they might need to do in a real-world setting or on a construction site!
A large majority of students were able to quickly grasp the concept and understand how to measure like pros! That’s a pretty impressive skill—and one that many adults might need to brush up on! 😉
We’re excited to see what our students continue to learn and build in Industrial Arts this year!
