Thirteen Galesburg Senior High School students were recently named as Advanced Placement (AP) Scholars. Of the thirteen students, four students received AP Scholars with Honors, and two students received AP Scholar with Distinction.
AP Scholar awards are given each year to students who earned scores of 3 or higher in three or more AP exams. We would like to congratulate all the scholars this year. This is a remarkable accomplishment and a tribute to each student's academic talent and hard work.
AP Scholar With Distinction (Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, AND scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
