Congratulations to our Steele Star Students of the Week for Dec. 12-21 and January 9-13. These students demonstrated kindness, perseverance and our CHAMPS expectations throughout the week. This is what their teachers said about them:
- Jet has shown that he is a Steele Superstar by being kind and helpful to all of his classmates. We recently have a new student in the classroom and he has been such a big help in helping him learn our routine, giving him positive compliments, and answering any questions he has. He is such a great leader for the classroom.
- Joanna has a very creative mind and always tries her best in STEM. Her plans are very detailed and I know exactly what she is wanting to create in her project. She is a leader and a great example in STEM.
- Ziyad is a Steele Superstar! He is kind hearted, creative, and a fun kid to be around. During the past few weeks, he has worked really hard and persevered through his assessments. Way to go, Ziyad!
- Max has overcome a lot this year and still continued to grow and learn in many ways. She blew both her teachers away with her amazing diagnostic scores. Keep it up, Max!
- Daijah has a been a star in our classroom. She is superstar in the classroom. Me and her classmates can always count on Daijah! Daijah is a wonderful student in my classroom!
- Makayla works hard and is a great friend to others. Keep it up, Makayla!
- Ayden has been working hard and making great choices! Keep it up, Ayden! We are so proud of you!
- Kayson's manners have been above average the last couple weeks. During testing I often will pass out small treats or candy; without missing a beat, Kayson is always the first to say, "Thank you Mrs. Shinn!" I appreciate his gratitude and appreciation and it often prompts other students to remember their manners too. Keep it up Kayson! Great manners will take you far in this world!
- Julian made tremendous gains on his mid-year assessments! He has worked hard all year to become a better and better reader. His hard work has paid off!! I am so very, very proud of his perseverance and dedication to being his best self. Keep it up, Julian!
- Jocelyn is a hard worker and a wonderful friend to others!
- Harper is doing an amazing job and working so hard in third grade! She is always ready to lend a helping hand to her peers!
- Miah is a Steele Superstar! Miah worked hard this term to improve on all areas of the diagnostic. She took the tests very seriously and showed a ton of growth! Way to go Superstar Miah!!
- Caleb is a superstar! He has amazing leadership skills and makes sure to include everyone.
- Tyler has been working hard to pay attention do his best work on every assignment. He has been using his words when he needs help and has also been a helper to others when they need something.
- Jaxson has really been doing an awesome in class lately! He is an awesome volunteer and is willing to run any teacher errands I need help with! He has been doing a great job on his work too!
- Daniel is a hard worker. Daniel is really good at setting goals for himself and achieving them!
- Beckett consistently chooses to do the right thing and works very hard on any assignment. She is kind and a great leader! Keep it up, Beckett! Always trying her best, following directions, and being thoughtful!
- Raymond has come in all week with such a positive attitude. He was so excited to be back to school and was ready to work hard. Keep it up all year, Raymond! I am so proud of you!
- Karl has come to school on time ready to learn and has actively participated!
- Isaiah is a Steele Superstar! Isaiah uses his time wisely to complete quality work! When he is finished, he is always willing to help out classmates. Way to go Superstar Isaiah!
- Jaxon has come to school this week ready to learn and has been a great friend! Way to go Jaxon.
- Briella always shows up to school with a smile on her face and a positive outlook every day. She is a great helper in the classroom and often does things she notices that need done without being prompted to. She is a hard worker and I love having her in class!
- Lopes has worked so hard to learn this week! He has shown that he is determined to multiply big numbers. He has persevered when faced with difficult tasks. He is improving every day! Keep up the great work, Lopes!
- Armanii is a Steele Superstar! He brings joy to our classroom in so many different ways, but what I admire most about him is that he keeps trying. This shows that he has a great growth mindset, and I know that will take him far!
- Andi is such a thoughtful and considerate friend. This week, several students earned a lunch in the classroom, including Andi. However, Andi was worried another classmate would be sad in the lunchroom without some friends so she gave up her lunch in the classroom to eat lunch in the cafeteria so our classmate wouldn't be lonely or sad. That is true superstar behavior! Way to go Andi!
- JaQwayvion has been working extremely hard, following directions, and being a good friend. We are so proud of you! Keep being a star because you are shining bright!
- Brynley comes to school everyday ready to learn and help her peers! She has been a great help in the classroom and doing an amazing job in third grade!
- Lilly shines like a Superstar every single day! She is a real leader in class and I can always count on her to be doing the right thing. She works hard, does her best, is helpful to others, and has a great attitude. Keep up the awesome work, Lilly!
- JARSHAWN HAS BEEN WORKING HARD ON ALL HIS ACADEMICS AND IS GROWING BY LEAPS AND BOUNDS IN ALL AREAS. HE IS MAKING GOOD CHOICES IN HIS BEHAVIOR AND HE IS BEING A GOOD LEADER IN THE CLASSROOM. I AM SO PROUD OF YOU JARSHAWN! KEEP SHINING LIKE A STEELE STAR!
- Laziyah has been a wonderful classmate this first week back. She has been working so hard and following expectations wonderfully.
